Things have got really horrible at work. I’m at home.
I need to get my priorities right – I’m not going to let people make me ill by their treatment. Even if that means I have to remove myself from their reach.
Rik has been lovely and supportive.
My priority right now is to get my degree. Then we can apply to emigrate to New Zealand. I need to write some fiction (two pieces, total 2500 words, plus some commentary) and submit it by 6th June.
The deadline before that, a very pressing one, is that I have a TMA (tutor marked assignment) to get in by midnight tomorrow. This is for the course that will (I hope) convert my yet-to-be-acheived ordinary degree into an honours degree. It’s a Film and Television History course and finishes with an exam in October.
That said, I am off to write my essay now (after I’ve made a cup of tea) and I’ll post again when its gone.
